Tom Stoddart Death – Cause Of Death: Renowned British photojournalist Tom Stoddart who took a picture of the fall of the Berlin War and the Beirut and Sarajevo conflicts has passed away tragically on Wednesday 17th November 2021 at the age of 68 following a brave battle with cancer. His death was announced by his family on his social media handle.
Tom was one of our nation’s great photographers and a wonderful human. Stoddart has been part of important and memorable occasions in the history, he captured the wrecking of the Berlin Wall in the year 1989, the disaster in sub-Saharan Africa, and the Bosnian War. He was a great pictorial story teller, who made our alot from mere pictures. He was always warm and generous with his support.
Tom was one of the great documentary photographers of all time, an incredible gentleman, father and husband. His work during the war in the Balkans was so incredibly humanizing and heart felt, poignant, brave, and touching. His inspirtaion and creativity will be remembered by all. His encourgement and motivation to people who were in the same field with him was unspeakable.
According to the announcement made on his page by his family, it says: “It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tom after a brave fight against cancer. He felt blessed that he had found true happiness with Ailsa. The family kindly ask that their privacy be respected at this time.” Tom Stoddart obituary will be release by his family in an appropriate time.
