One dies in Wollert two-vehicle accident
Wollert Car Accident : At least one woman has died following a fatal truck/car accident on Epping Road in Wollert on Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m.
The police reported that a woman was driving a car on Epping Road between Craigieburn Road East and Bridge Inn Road when her vehicle collided with a truck. The solo occupant of the car who sustained fatal injuries died at the spot. Her identity has not been disclosed currently pending notification of family members.
The driver of the truck was not injured but was present at the scene and cooperated with the emergency services during the investigation.
The Epping Road between Craigieburn Road East and Bridge Inn Road was closed and buses on Rote 390 are redirected to enable the officials to carry out investigations and clear the scene.
