Victor M Castro, of Seattle and Alexa Gaytan Solis, of Renton both 19, have lost their lives in a deadly solo-car accident that happened on Interstate 5 near Southcenter in Tukwila, Washington around 12:19 a.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
According to report, Castro was driving a car with Solis as passenger northbound on I-5 at high speed when he lost control of the car and rotated out of the roadway and the driver’s broadside struck an attenuator embarkment and overturned.
Emergency responders arrived the scene of the crash and found overturned on its roof with the two teen trapped inside the car. Both teen who were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
