Gary Brewster of Edgar, WI Death –  Passed Away: WAUSAU – WI., – Coach Gary Brewster of Edgar, Wisconsin, died suddenly and unexpectedly after a long and courageous battle with Covid-19 complications. Gary was an amazing father to Hannah Brewster and Kyle Brewster. Nancy Kowalski posted on Facebook, “COVID! Oh no. Sorry to hear you’re sick. Hope you recover, my friend.”

Gary Brewster, a native of Athens, Wisconsin, who lived in Edgar, Wisconsin was announced deceased on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Gary attended Athens High School. “Very sad news to report about my friend Gary Brewster. He has passed away. I am without words. R I P my friend,” Pete Heineck said.

Gary Brewster shared a post on his Facebook timeline on November 5, “Sure am hoping I’m turning the corner with this COVID!! Been a very long week getting my tail kicked!”. Gary was a friend to many people he met, a wonderful son we adored, a big brother who adored his little brother and sister, an uncle who adored his nieces and nephews, a hard worker, caring, giving, kind-hearted, helpful, loving people, and a hugger.

Brett Schutte posted on Facebook, “I just want to say that I am deeply sorry for the Brewster family for their loss of Gary Brewster. He was an amazing man for the amount of time I’ve talked to him even though it was little but I know that he has taught a lot of my classmates who played sports to always give it their all and saw the potential in everyone he coached. He was also an amazing father to Hannah Brewster and Kyle Brewster, always supporting them in all that they did. He will always be there to watch his family even if he’s no longer with us and will always be in your hearts. My prayers go out to the family all the way from Germany and I know that the entire Edgar community is doing the same.”
