Timothy Darius Biffle Death – Cause of Death – Timothy Darius Biffle, 37, was identified as the victim of a shooting inside an eastern Jefferson County apartment. The shooting happened on Tuesday night, 23rd of November 2021 about 9:40 a.m. The police were called to the 200 block of Chalkville Manor Drive on a report of shots fired followed by a person screaming. When the Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies and Center Point Fire medics got to the scene, they located Biffle inside the apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:31 p.m. Police said the shooter remained on the scene and spoke with detectives. The shooter identified as 40-year-old Marcus Ladrell Jenkins was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on a manslaughter charge.
Jenkins was released from jail at 4:17 a.m. after posting a $30,000 bond. Investigation is ongoing.
