Harold Crawford was a valued Emeritus member of NAF’s Board of Directors. Reports sates that Crawford served the The Ataxia community for 45 years before his sad passing.
The National Ataxia Foundation (NAF) is a foundation created in 1957 to search for a cause and cure for Ataxia. This continues to be at the heart of the organization today. Ataxia is a devastating disease that negatively impacts peoples’ lives. NAF is a world leader in the Ataxia research field, using national and global collaboration to further research efforts.
Reports states that Crawford lost his wife and 3 children to the Ataxia disease, but remained committed to serving the Ataxia community. His contributions to the community will never be forgotten.
NAF said in a tweet; “It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Harold Crawford, a valued Emeritus member of NAF’s Board of Directors. He lost his wife and 3 children to the disease, but remained committed to serving the Ataxia community. He will be missed.”
