Peter Mcdonough, Death: Peter Mcdonough, 81-year-old, a native of Galt, Ontario passed away. His death was announced on Saturday, November 20, 2021, by Saltwire.com. At age 12 his family moved to Nova Scotia one of the thirteen provinces and territories of Canada. It is one of the three Maritime provinces and one of the four Atlantic provinces. Nova Scotia is Latin for “New Scotland”. Most of the population are native English-speakers. Sue Uteck shared a post on Facebook saying the world has become a little less funny. “The world has just gotten a little less funny.”
He was born in Galt, Ontario, very appropriately on April Fools Day 1940 to James (Kingstown Ireland) and Elizabeth/Bessie Ewing (Westport) but by the time Peter became age 12, they relocated their family to Nova Scotia. Peter is survived by his brothers, Kevin and Brian, his first wife Alexa, his current overly accepting and forever patient wife Suzanne, his two sons Justin and Travis, his stepdaughter Susie, and his nine loving grandkids, He was a terrific athletic supporter. He loved Dalhousie sports and boxing matches, especially when he wasn’t directly involved. Peter’s idea of technology was a Texas Instruments calculator.
