Christian Malmgren, Cause of Death: Christian Malmgren, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away. According to various posts on his father’s account Yolanda Malmgren, Christian had been battling cancer (Ewing’s Sarcoma), but is not mentioned in the news of his passing as the cause of death. Yolanda Malmgren shared their news of his son’s demise on Facebook on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. According to the post, the father wrote that his son passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning surrounded by his beloved family. “It is with a heavy heart that I share that my wonderful son, Christian, passed peacefully early this morning. He was surrounded by his loving family.” He also thanks to the public for their prayers and support. “He is now an angel in the arms of our loving Lord. Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support throughout our journey.”
St. Elizabeth School in a Tweet and post on Facebook express their sadness over Christian’s death. They mentioned that it is with great sorrow but they hope and trust in Jesus Christ, they also stated that the Viking community mourns the loss of Christian D. Malmgren of the class of 2022. “It is with great sorrow but with firm hope and trust in Jesus Christ, that the Viking community mourns the loss of Christian D. Malmgren of the class of 2022.” The post also said that Christian passed away surrounded by his family and was uplifted by the love and support from St. Elizabeth School community. “Christian passed from this life into eternal life surrounded by his family and loved ones and uplifted by the love and support of his St. Elizabeth School community. Our entire school community bonds itself in prayer with Christian’s family and friends, as we grieve this tremendous loss.”
Christian will forever be remembered as a gift and light in his community, and also as an image of hope to so many. “We will always remember him as a gift of light in our community and an image of hope for so many. Eternal Rest grant unto him, Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.” The post continued.
Christian Malmgren’s obituary and funeral service will be organized by the family.
