Warren Hillier Cause of Death – Passed Away: On November 6, 2021, Warren Hillier, 42, also known as “Ernie Scar,” of Saint Albert, Alberta, a member of St Albert Firefighters tragically passed away. Firefighter Warren Hillier died after struggling with mental health issues. Warren was an amazing dad, who loved his boy so much. He was a jokester, always trying to lighten the mood or make those around him laugh.
Warren Hillier, a native of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, who lived in Saint Albert, Alberta, was remembered as a beloved spouse, father, brother, son, friend, and member of the Military and St Albert Firefighter’s families. “Warren himself struggled with mental health and chose to end his struggles on his terms. He felt there was no way for him to recover back to the amazing man others know him as.” St Albert Firefighters wrote.
This GoFundMe page was created to help the family pay for funeral costs and other expenses at this difficult time. The fundraiser page has raised $18,306 out of a $5,000 goal.
