He was an Olympic champion in double-doubles men’s Double Sculls at the 1968 Mexico City and 1972 Munich Summer Games, where he gained a gold medal. He was an honored Master of Sports. He was very dedicated and devoted, he was respected in his professional field and in his community.
He was a man that lived life to the fullest, he was larger than life. He had a very calm presence with a deep sense of humor. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all those that benefitted from his impact. Aleksandr Timoshinin’s obituary will be released by his family in no time.
