Leighann Russo – Death – Leighann Russo, of Malton, New Jersey, wife of Mark Russo, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. The news of her death was shared by MLU Soccer on Thursday, November 18, 2021. Mark wished his deceased wife a happy anniversary on a Facebook post on Monday, November 22, 2021. In the post, he professes his love for his wife and thank her for giving him, beautiful children. He also added that she was an amazing mum and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. “Happy Anniversary to Leighann Cyphers Pronkowitz Russo – the love of my life, my partner, my soul mate. She was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. She dedicated herself to being the most amazing mom, and she was. She enjoyed motivating everyone to work out and be healthy. It was her passion. She cared more about others than she did about herself.”
Mark also added that “I love you more than these words can say. And I miss you so much – It hurts. You were my world. You were my everything. You gave me two beautiful children and the best family anyone could ask for. You touched so many people and helped even more. Rest in peace my love! See you on the other side!” A GoFundMe account was created by Michael Korenkiewicz to raise funds for Leighann and her family. The account which has a set goal of $2500 has raised up to $25480 with Alex Davydov with a top donation of $1000. As of the time of this report, 213 donations were received in the GoFundMe account.
MLU Soccer shared the devastating news of the passing of Leighann Russo expressing their pain, she was described as a wonderful woman and a beloved member of the MLU soccer community. “A beloved member of the MLU soccer community has suddenly passed away, leaving a void in the hearts of every life she has touched. A wonderful woman to cheer on the sidelines with and who always made all of our soccer players feel important as she encouraged them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Please consider donating to her family in her memory.”
