Melvin Tinker Death – Cause of Death – Christian speaker and author, Melvin Tinker died aged 66. He passed away after a short battle with cancer, reports revealed. He was a leading British Anglican evangelical speaker and author. Melvin Tinker is the minister of St John’s Newland in Hull, England. He was the author of numerous books, including Mass Destruction: is God guilty of genocide? and That Hideous Strength: how the West was lost.
Tinker’s book ‘That Hideous Strength’, warned of social Marxism’s effect on the Church. CARE wrote in an article that Tinker held roles as a church minister and as Director of Theology at The Christ Church Network, Hull. Melvin had been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer since last year, his son Michael, confirmed last year October. Michael said his father was entering “his final few days” and had been discharged from hospital to die at home. He will be missed.
In reaction to this death Christian Action Research and Education wrote; “We’re saddened to hear that Melvin Tinker has passed away. His preaching and writing were so helpful to Christians, especially his analysis of the times in which we live. We extend our deepest condolences to his family at this time.” CARE’s James Mildred”
