Megan Mooney Jacksonville FL Obituary – Death: Megan Mooney, 22, of Jacksonville, Florida, was killed in a car accident on Philips Highway and Great Bay Parkway on Saturday.
The 22-year-old woman was reportedly driving westward making a left turn from the State Road 9B ramp onto US Highway 1 in the left lane, while a 60-year-old driver in a sedan was traveling toward the left heading north in the center lane. Both vehicles collided at the intersection.

The 19-year-old driver and 20-year-old passenger were also driving west making a left turn from the State Road 9B exit ramp onto U.S. Highway 1 in the center lane.
“UNF is mourning the loss of fellow Osprey Megan Mooney who passed away after a car accident around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to First Coast News.”
The 60-year-old driver also struck the 19-year-old driver’s vehicle as they made a left turn.
Megan Mooney was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The 60-year-old driver suffered serious injuries, and the 19-year-old and 20-year-old in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
