Julia Kabance Death – Cause of Death – On Tuesday, 16th of November 2021, the Oldest living female US WWII veteran, Julia Kabance sadly passed away at 111. Kabance was born in 1910 on Jackson County’s Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation, the 11th of 12 children. She was the Supercentenarian Julia Kabance was also the oldest living member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Kabance lived at a nursing home in Wamego, Kansas. She has been confirmed as America’s oldest living person is Thelma Sutcliffe, of Omaha, Neb. According to the Manhattan Mercury during the April 2019 interview, Kabance had hoped to live to be 112 and she said her longevity is as a result of her independence.

Kabance was employed after the war by the Air Force in Topeka. Reports states that she studied accounting before working in the state of Washington and on the East Coast. She also spent most of her time volunteering with the VA and the Catholic Church.

Rep. Jake LaTurner said in a tweet; “I’m saddened to hear the news that Julia Kabance passed away on Tuesday. Julia was a native Kansan, Air Force veteran, Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation member, and the oldest living female WWII veteran. I’m grateful for her service to our nation.”
