Josée Forest-Niesing Death – Cause of Death – Josée Forest-Niesing, of Sudbury, Ont., a Canadian lawyer and politician, sadly passed away at the age of 57 after struggling with COVID-19. She died on the 18th of November 2021. She was made a member of the House of Commons of Canada and was also appointed to the Senate of Canada in October 2018.
According to reports, Sen. Josée sadly passed away after being discharged from hospital this week following treatment for COVID-19. A release mentioned that Sen. Josée was released from hospital on the 14th of November 2021 after being admitted in October. Sen. Josée was struggling with an autoimmune disease affecting her lungs for 15 years before her passing.
Sen. Josée was fully vaccinated against COVID-19, but her condition made her more vulnerable to the dreaded virus, her office reported. She had two children with her husband, Robert.
Sen. Larry W. Smith said in a tweet; “It is with great sadness that I learnt of the passing of the Honourable Josée Forest-Niesing. Her departure will create a big void within the Franco-Ontarian community and certainly in the Senate Chamber. My most sincere condolences accompany her family and friends.”
