Grace Sinnott Death – Cause of Death – On Tuesday, 23rd of November 2021, 83-year-old homeowner, Grace Sinnott was killed in a house fire in Cranford. Sinnott was declared dead at the scene after the fire that broke out on Beech Street shortly after 7 a.m.
According to the police, firefighters got to the house two minutes after the fire and found a neighbor using a ladder to rescue two adults trapped on the second floor as flames and smoke poured out of the home. Both adults are in good condition. A dog was also killed in the fire.
Police said firefighters also suffered minor injuries but in less than an hour the fire was brought under control, though the two-story home and a detached garage were damaged. Its cause remains under investigation.
