Gerald Meade Death – Cause of Death – Gerald Meade, Head Porter at Peterhouse, was confirmed dead in a tweet made on the 29th of November 2021 by A Cambridge Diary. Peterhouse is the oldest constituent college of the University of Cambridge in England, founded in 1284 by Hugh de Balsham, Bishop of Ely. Today, Peterhouse has 254 undergraduates, 116 full-time graduate students and 54 fellows. It is quite often erroneously referred to as Peterhouse College, although the correct name is simply Peterhouse.

The cause of death was not revealed to the public during the time of this publication. Gerald has contributed positively to the growth of the Peterhouse college. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

A Cambridge Diary said in a tweet; “It is with great sadness that I learnt today of the passing of Gerald Meade, Head Porter at Peterhouse. I know how highly he was regarded by his colleagues and how much he was loved by everyone at the college. RIP.”
