Rusty Lurvey died after a long and courageous battle with a stroke. Rusty was a wonderful father who adored his children. He was a prankster who was always trying to lighten the mood or make people laugh.
Russell “Rusty” Thomas Lurvey was born in Oshkosh on August 21, 1973. He was raised in Three Lakes and attended school in Minneapolis. Rusty was a standout athlete as well as a well-liked coach. He was a Master of One and a Jack of All Trades. He wanted to improve his comedy, but he was already a standup comedian.
Rusty had a kind heart, a generous attitude, and a fun-loving personality that helped pave the way for years of lifelong friendships. He was always there to help you celebrate, mourn, fix things, build something, or just listen and offer a shoulder to cry on or a smile to laugh with.
