Fred Hill, Cause of Death, Plymouth MI: Fred Hill, 79-year-old, of Plymouth Michigan, Plymouth entrepreneur and founder of Plymouth’s popular Briefcase Drill Team passes away after a courageous battle with cancer on November 15, 2021, at his lake house on Bass Lake surrounded by his family. Fred and his team started on July 4th Parade. Years later, they made their way to perform every year in the Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade. Fred’s Drill Team eventually appeared in New York’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, according to Plymouth/Plymouth Township, Michigan Facebook official page.
He was a long-time resident of Plymouth, Michigan, he was an entrepreneur and a 50-year member of the city’s Kiwanis Club. According to a Facebook post by Plymouth/Plymouth Township, Michigan official page, Fred was one of the true characters that made Plymouth the charming, friendly community they love. “Many of us lost a good friend Tuesday in Fred Hill and one of the true characters that made Plymouth the charming, friendly community we love.”
Plymouth/Plymouth Township, Michigan also added that Fred owned a men’s clothing store before becoming a longtime trusted realtor who was known for his support of community organizations, like the Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club, he is popularly known as the leader of the Briefcase Drill Team. “He started in Plymouth, owning a men’s clothing store downtown, and then became a longtime trusted realtor. While he is known for his support of community organizations, like the Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club, he is probably most known as the leader of the Briefcase Drill Team.”
