Ryan Preston, a former men’s basketball player from Brooklyn, was killed in a tragic car accident. The accident occurred on Tuesday in Bahrain. Preston died as a result of his injuries in the crash. He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Preston received his bachelor’s degree from URI in 2019.
Ryan Preston, a famous basketball player, was born on May 9, 1997, in Brooklyn. He played for the Rams from 2017 to 2019, appearing in 42 games over the course of two seasons. He played for Issa Town in the Bahrain Premier League. He transferred from Trinity Valley Community College to URI. Preston was a member of the Rhode Island team from 2017 to 2018.
The team from Rhode Island won the Atlantic 10 regular-season championship and advanced to the NCAA Championship second round. “URI has lost a dear alumnus, Ryan Preston, former URI men’s basketball student-athlete.
