Charles Moose Death – Cause Of Death: Former Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose who was the face of the DC sniper investigation has passed away unexpectedly on Thursday 25th November 2021 at the age of 68 at his home. His death was announced by his wife Sandy Moose on her Facebook page. Charles Moose’s cause of death was not stated in the publication.

He was born on August 4, in the year 1953 in New York City, but was brought up in North Carolina. He finished his Bachelor of Arts degree in U.S. History in the year 1975 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 1975 and proceeded to study at Portland State University where he gained a Master of Public Administration degree in the year 1984 and in 1993 he obtained a Ph.D. in urban studies and criminology in the same institution.

Charles worked as a patrol officer in Portland Police Bureau in Portland, Oregon in the year 1975 through 1999, he became the Montgomery County Police Department Chief in Maryland from August 2nd, 1999 to 2003. He will be missed by his family, friends, and the entirety of Montgomery County Police. Charles Moose’s obituary will be released by his family.
