Dr. Daniel Gene McBride Death – Cause of Death – Dr. Daniel Gene McBride passed away on the 20th of October 2021 at the age 59. His obituary revealed that McBride died of a heart attack soon after returning home from a 16 mile bike ride. McBride was awarded a fellowship in Sports medicine by the eminent surgeon Dr. James R. Andrews at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
According to his obituary, Dr. McBride provided sideline football coverage for the University of Massachusetts. He was a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and was also a member of the New England Orthopedic Society.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Xueli Yu, and his son Daniel Gene McBride, Junior. He leaves behind his mother, Dorothy E. McBride, Binghamton, NY, his brother David P. McBride, Vancouver, Washington, and his sister Deanna L. McBride Walsh (wife of Rick Walsh), Binghamton, New York, and his brother Devon E. McBride, Binghamton, New York, and his niece Hannah K. McBride, and his nephews Daniel R. Walsh, Casey M. Walsh, and Luke A. McBride. He was predeceased by his father, Donald G. McBride from Binghamton, NY.
