Anthropologist David Graeber Death – Dead | Obituary – Passed Away
David Graeber Death – Dead: A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished David Graeber.
Very moved to learn of the death of anthropologist David Graeber. His work accompanied me to the Chamber where I used to quote him. We will miss his finesse of mind, humanity and humor.
His wife, Nika Dubrovsky, announced on Twitter the death of American anthropologist and economist David Graeber. We are reposting the interview given in September 2018 for his book, on Bullshit Jobs, these unnecessary and meaningless jobs that have multiplied with the financialization of the world.
Left-wing economist David Graeber passed away unexpectedly in Venice on September 2., as his wife announced on Twitter. Contrast. at was able to interview him during a visit to Vienna in 2018
The world has lost a great thinker. We wish his bereaved a lot of strength.
Will never forget David Graeber’s visible discomfort in 2012 at a New School event of academics who maybe never went to Zucotti Park theorizing on the meaning of Occupy Wall Street and waxing rhapsodic on Graeber’s work as though he wasn’t right the fuck there. God, what a loss.

We are very sad, David Graeber has passed away.
He’s been a friend of all oppressed people, he was one of the important intellectuals our time.
We will never forget him.
He will be greatly missed.
He was a real friend of the #Kurds and supportive for #Ocalan’s ideas

Rest in peace David Graeber. The New Anarchists is an essay that changed my life and the lives of many others. Bullshit Jobs, and Debt are monumental books. One of the most valuable voices in articulating the world we want to build, taken from us far too soon. This sucks.

So sad to hear about David Graeber. He was a fantastic author, and beloved by so many good people who were lucky enough to meet him.
Here he is talking absolute sense about the confected and hyperbolic Labour antisemitism furore.

Absolutely gutted to hear that David Graeber has died; he was a brilliant professor and Debt became core to the shaping of my economic views. I’ll leave you with this, one of my all-time fave Graeber quotes. I’ll never forget Tent City University either. Rest In Power.

David Graeber was truly a friend of the women’s struggle and the revolution in Rojava. The world has lost his presence, but his light lives on in every person who struggles for freedom. Rest in peace, comrade #davidgraeber

We are all shocked and upset to hear of David Graeber’s passing.
He was an invaluable ally in our mission to raise awareness of our debt-based money system, and also a friend.
If you haven’t already, start reading his work now.

Really sad to hear that anthropologist @davidgraeber has died. I followed his work religiously throughout university and even saw him on a Free Education demo in London once – which was like spotting a celeb for a 22-year-old anthro student. Rest in power.
