Bill DeLuca Obituary Windham, NH – Death: The President of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, Bill DeLuca, 87, of Windham, NH, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. No cause of death was revealed.

“We lost an Icon in the Haverhill generational car dealers. David worked for him at one point. RIP Bill”

Bill graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1951. He served in the United States Army and served his country with pride until his honorable discharge in 1954.

Bill became the owner of a local gas station in Lawrence. Passionate about cars, he soon began to sell used cars as well.

In 1970, he became personal friends with Hall of Famer John Buyck and his wife Ann and traveled to their summer home in Canada. His favorite charity was the Greater Lawrence Boys and Girls Club. As a member at a young age, I wanted to give those kids a chance.

“Dear friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that the Chairman of our Board, Bill DeLuca Jr., has passed away. Bill has been a giant in the Greater Lawrence community for decades, and has played a pivotal role in the way BGCL has served youth over the years.

Bill served with incredible leadership and a strong commitment to philanthropy, and is one of the main reasons why our organization is in the great position it is now.

Bill was someone who was there with us through the good times and bad times, and always offered great advice and direction. Through his dedication to helping youth in the Greater Lawrence community, he has without a doubt changed the lives of thousands. We are eternally grateful for all of he has done, and will miss him greatly.

Our condolences go out to his wife Kay and the entire DeLuca family at this time.”

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Auto Auction of New England, Bill DeLuca Family of Dealerships, Auto Use, and Bank of New England’s founder, Bill DeLuca, Jr. Bill passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was deeply loved by his family, friends and community. It can’t be put into words the loss that will be felt by his passing. Those of us who had the opportunity to work under him will also feel a tremendous loss. He was an extraordinarily smart and accomplished entrepreneur who built a company that still represents and practices the same principles he used to create them.

Bill’s legacy is alive and well, and will not be forgotten as we can feel and see his values in the roots of our company. His kindness to customers and friends alike, was truly unmatched.”
