Andre Derdyn Death – Cause of Death : 84-year-old Andre Derdyn, of Lovington, has been identified by the Virginia State Police as the victim that did in Nelson County auto-pedestrian accident on Monday afternoon, around 3:35 p.m.
According to report, Derdyn was walking west on Brookside Lane in Lovingston when he was hit by a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by a 66-year-old Michael Doucette, of Lynchburg that made a left turn onto Front Street. The pedestrian died of his injuries at the scene while the driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries.
It was stated by the officials that sun glare played a role in the crash.
