Dave Hickey Death – Cause Of Death: America’s best art and cultural critics and University of Nevada Las Vegas professor of English Dave Hickey who was known for writing for numerous American publications like Artforum, Vanity Fair, and Harper’s Magazine has passed away on Friday 12th November 2021 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the U.S. at the age of 82.
Dave was born on 5th December 1938 in Fort Worth the fifth-largest city in the U.S. state of Texas and the 12th-largest city in the United States. He attended a private research university in Fort Worth, Texas called the Texas Christian University and graduated in the year 1961. He continued and gained his MA from the University of Texas, a public research university in Austin, Texas, founded in 1883. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been confirmed.
Dave was a writer of various notable books which include Air Guitar in the year 1997, The Invisible Dragon in the year 1993 Pirates, and Farmers in the year 2013 Wasted Words in the year 2016 Dust Bunnies 2016. He received numerous honors for his work some of which are the Frank Jewett Mather Award for art criticism from the College Art Association in the year 1994. He obtained a Peabody Award for his 2006 documentary about Andy Warhol for the American Masters series, which aired on PBS in 2006. He was a respected professor of criticism in the Department of Art & Art History for the MFA program at the University of New Mexico. Dave Hickey’s obituary will be released by his family.
