Alexander “Alex” W. Monborne a 24-year-old of Canton has passed away suddenly on September 18, 2021. The Cause of his death has not been announced to the public.

Alex was born December 5, 1996, in Canton, OH, to Christopher and Stephanie Melbourne. He attended Canton Central Catholic in 2015.

Alex was an all-around extreme sports enthusiast. He was on a BMX bike before he could even walk. Alex was as fearless as he was curious and his smile would radiate positive energy through anyone in his presence, and if the activity included adrenaline or nature — he was in.

When Alex was not shredding through the trees on his bike or seeking the biggest road gap to send — he was most likely seen at local metal shows, hiking up a mountain, riding fresh powder on his snowboard, exploring the next adventure with family & friends, and always bringing out the wildness and laughter in all those he loved.

Alex is survived by his parents, Christopher and Stephanie Monborne; his sister, Mallory Monborne; his brothers, Christopher and Matthew Monborne; his grandparents, Pete and Kathy Williams and Eleanor Monborne; his best furry friend Iggy; his girlfriend, Ali Karas; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
