Etobicoke, Toronto Accident – Death: According to a statement by the Toronto police, a five-year-old girl was tragically killed in a car accident after the car she was in crashed into a tree on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Etobicoke, Toronto. The driver who was a 31-year-old woman was driving a white Nissan Versa when she lost control and struck a tree, Police said. The relationship between the woman and the girl is said to be a mother and a child. Paramedics tried all they could to preserve the life of the five old but unfortunately, she passed away from the injuries.

At about 9 pm., emergency crews were alerted about a collision, which took place in the area of Renforth Drive and Rathburn Road. On arrival at the scene, a woman and a child were located in the vehicle. The woman who sustained non-life-threatening injuries was taken to the hospital. The girl was found without any vital signs and was rushed to the pediatric trauma center, by the Toronto paramedics as a result of a life-threatening condition. Police said she later died from the injuries. Throughout the day, people dropped by the memorial in the area of Renforth Drive and Centennial Park Gate to pay their respects and remember the young child killed when a white Nissan Versa she was riding slammed into a tree Saturday night.

According to an eyewitness to the crash, Carole Pike, who is a resident in the area, said that she saw a white vehicle spinning around before hitting the tree. She also added that she saw as they were trying to get the mother out of the damaged vehicle while she was sadly screaming and horrified. She also said she saw a young lady being pulled out of the vehicle by the ambulance. And at that time, with a bruised and bloody face, and she was not moving. CPR was being carried out on her by the paramedics. The cause of the accident is yet to be known. Police closed the roads in the area for investigation.
