Dennis Altieri Cause of Death – Passed Away: Stow Ward 1 Councilman at the City of Stow and former president at Altieri’s Pizza Dennis Altieri of Stow, Ohio has passed away. Ward 1 Councilman Dennis Alteri died on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from Covid-19 complications. He was 68 years old.

While announcing the passing of Dennis Altieri, Tony Rubino wrote on Facebook, “Today I learned of the passing of a long time friend of mine from Stow, Ohio. Dennis Altieri and his family were known for years as the best Chicken and Pizzas around at Altieri’s Pizza & Chicken. Dennis grew up in the food business..his dad had Altieris Restaurant. Dennis and I were in Food Management classes together at Akron University. Dennis was a great friend and Groomsmen in my Wedding long ago…”

Tony Rubino also said, “We stayed in touch and have known each other early as 1971…This is a tough one for me as I just heard he died from Covid. I was just talking to him less than 2 weeks ago then this. My Condolences to his family and our mutual friends that knew and loved Dennis RIP my good friend…see ya in the next life. Roop a Gool,”

Dennis Altieri was born on May 22, 1953, in Stow, Ohio, where he attended Stow High School. Dennis Altieri study Hospitality Management at the University of Akron. Dennis had a big heart and cared deeply for his family, friends and the City of Stow. He was truly a part of the Cocozzo / Mariola / Palumbo family.
