Peter Lucas Death – Cause of Death – The news about the death of Peter Lucas was announced in a tweet made on the 29th of November 2021 by CFA Chief Officer Jason Heffernan. According to reports, Commander Lucas was a commander with the CFA (Country Fire Authority). The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is a volunteer fire service responsible for fire suppression, rescues, and response to other accidents and hazards across most of the state Victoria, Australia.
CFA comprises over 1,200 brigades organized in 21 districts, and shares responsibility for fire services with Fire Rescue Victoria, which employs full-time paid firefighters in major urban areas; and Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMV), which manages fire prevention and suppression on Victoria’s public lands. Commander Lucas was a wonderful mentor, an amazing friend and larger than life presence across CFA (Country Fire Authority), CFA Chief Officer Jason Heffernan said. He will be missed.
