On Thursday, November 25, 2021, Halifax Regional Police shared the news of his demise on Facebook in a statement by Halifax Regional Police Chief Dan Kinsella. According to the statement, Chief Dan Kinsella express their sadness over the demise of the retired Chief Frank. “It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the passing of retired Chief Frank Beazley this morning.”
According to Chief Dan Kinsella’s statement, retired chief Frank was a distinguished leader and a community member who served the citizens of Halifax for 42 years. “Chief Beazley was a distinguished leader and a community member who served the citizens of Halifax for 42 years as a police officer.” He also stated that chief Frank started his career in 1970 as an officer on patrol with the Halifax Police department, and in 2003, he obtained the ranks and became Chief of Halifax Regional Police. “Starting with his career in 1970 as an officer on patrol with the Halifax Police Department, he moved up the ranks and became Chief of Halifax Regional Police in 2003.”
Chief Frank served and dedicated his effort to his role as Chief until 2012, He proved to be an extraordinary leader and was well respected in the community and the police service. His leadership has had a tremendous impact on history. The Halifax Regional Police honors his tremendous effort and service as well as keeps him and his family in their thoughts. The statement continued. “He served in his role as Chief until 2012, proving to be an extraordinary leader who was well respected within our police service and in our community. Chief Beazley’s leadership has had a tremendous impact on the history of our service, and his loss is being felt by many. “We are keeping Chief Beazley and his family in our thoughts as we honor his tremendous legacy and service.”
