Max Halabuda, Death: Max Halabuda, 42-year-old, of Union Street, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 22, 2021, at home. He is survived by his parents, his wife Jeanie, his daughters, Claudia, Carleigh, Callie, and Claira’ Sue, his son, Timothy, his brothers, Keith and Stephen, along with cousins, friends, and co-workers.

He was born in Troy on December 14, 1978, he is the son of Pamela Barlow and Max (Dawn) Halabuda Jr., He graduated from Catholic Central High in Troy in 1997. He worked as an emergency aid coordinator for the Things Of My Very Own group in Schenectady for the past two years. Previously, he had operated a Freihofer’s bread route and had been a restaurant manager for several entities in the capital district.

Chris Lodge on a Facebook page described Max as a father, husband, and a great person who was taken from them so soon. “Max Halabuda III was a lifelong friend. So hard to understand how such a great person, father, husband, was taking from us so soon. R.I.P Maxx.”

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 S. Main St., Mechanicville. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. before services. For all, Max would love family and friends to wear Yankees or Bills colors for his services.
