A 40-year-old male customer is dead and a 48-year-old female has been hospitalized following a double shooting on Tuesday inside a Summerlin restaurant.

Authorities say the shooting happened at about 7:49 p.m. inside a Teriyaki Madness located at 10300 W Charleston Boulevard, near the intersection of Town Center Drive, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Dave Valenta says.

Investigators say the suspected shooter a thinly built man wearing dark-colored clothes and a baseball cap, allegedly followed the victim into the store and shot him, and then fled the scene. Officers believed it was a targeted incident, the woman who was a bystander was also struck by the gunfire and was transported to University Medical Center for surgeries.
