A bloody fight between 2 Sangre Grande neighbors ended with one dead and another hospitalized.
The deceased was identified as Najendra Deonarine, 57.
Reports stated that officers received information around 7.50 a.m. that 2 men were seen in an altercation in the vicinity of Coalmine.
Officers soon after found Deonarine lying on the road with multiple chop wounds. He was subsequently taken to the Sangre Grande Area Hospital where he died.
The other man was found in the emergency care area, being treated for an injured left thumb and other chop wounds.
