Shirley “Gail” Raiford Death – Cause of Death – Shirley “Gail” Raiford, from New Orleans, passed away on Wednesday, 3rd of November 2021. She died after a brave but short battle with Covid-19 at the age of 64. Shirley was born on the 8th of August 1957 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Rufus Raiford, Sr. and Ruthie Mae Robertson Raiford.
According to her obituary created by Legacy, Shirley is survived by 4 Sons Samuel (Berta), James (Takeisha N.), Edward and Darrin Raiford, (l) Daughter Felicia Raiford, (5) Brothers Roosevelt McGee, Robert Earl, David (Janice), James, Rufus, Johnny Ray (Kawana) Raiford, (3) Sisters Nellie (Charles) Brooks, Ruth and Julia Ann Raiford. Her motherly love was felt by (6) additional children (1) son James Raiford, (3) Daughters Edwardnisha and Edwardlisha Raiford and Myris McGee, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by (1) daughter Nicole Raiford, (6) brothers Jerry and Ervin Brooks, Willie Tyson, Rufus Jr., Houston and Sidney Ray Raiford.
