David Richardson Cause of Death – Passed Away: Crescent High School mourns the sudden passing of coach David Richardson from Anderson, South Carolina. No cause of death has been made public. Richardson was described as a friend, a mentor, a servant and the TRUE Crescent Tiger.
While announcing the passing of coach David Richardson, Jeff Craft said that Richardson dedicated his life and career to the service of others, and did it so well. “David Richardson was a friend, a coach, a mentor, a servant. He dedicated his life and career to the service of others, and did it so well.” Jeff continued, “He served our community, our schools, our teams, and our kids with a genuine smile and a genuine heart for serving others.”
David Richardson was a lifelong Anderson, South Carolina resident. He attended Crescent High School and graduated from Tri-County Technical College. “Today I’m heartbroken like rest of the Starr & Iva community over the passing of Coach David Richardson, we all know he gave the best hugs! I’m thankful for the memories & the fact I got to call you friend… Please remember his family, the students of CHS & the community in your prayers… RIP Coach,” Marie Wallace Dailey wrote on Facebook.
Brandon Smith wrote on Facebook, “I don’t have the words.. You inspired so many and I’ll never forget you picking me up with one arm when i was little. You coached me in high school, inspired me to start wrestling, and taught me life lessons i carry with me today. You were always good by me, and gave me tough love when i needed it. I wish we could play another pickup game in the drive way or at the gym. You were the best uncle, mentor, and friend. Rest in peace David Richardson.”
David Richardson obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by his family.
