Robert Stefaniuk Death – Cause of Death – Robert Stefaniuk sadly but peacefully passed away on the 16th of November 2021 after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s with his beloved wife Marguerite by his side. Robert who was best known as “Bob” to everyone was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy and a proud and able sailor. He was born in Selkirk to Elizabeth and John Stefaniuk on the 14th of June 1946. After the Navy, Bob returned to Winnipeg and met the love of his life, Marguerite and got married. They had three beautiful kids together.

For a long time, Bob worked at Bristol Aerospace before he was elected as Mayor of the Rural Municipality of Richot. He was a great leader who realized historic achievements such as the installation of a new artisan water system, record community growth and successful battling the Flood of the Century in 1997. At the later years of his life, Bob took a well deserved break for himself by acquiring a motorcycle and took many trips across the prairies.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marguerite, siblings Ron (Terry), Liz (Randy), Chris and predeceased by his sister Andrea (Lorne). Bob is also survived by his sons Rob (Dawn) and Jeff (Jackie) and daughter Angela (Brian) and his beloved grandchildren Julia (Corey), Ian, Kate, Evie, Joey, Teagan, Rowan, Quinn and great granddaughter Aubrey. He’ll be greatly missed by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
