Melissa Kolonich – Murdered –  Death – 42-year-old Melissa Kolonich was stabbed multiple times to death by her husband in the early hours of Thursday morning at their home at Florawood Court in Franklin, N.J., John Kolonich, 46, who later shot himself during the late morning hours on Thursday, November 11, 2021. According to sources, the husband killed his wife got in his car, traveling southbound on Franklinville-Williamstown Road, left the roadway, crashing into the backyard of the Sandra Way residence after which he took his own life. She went to Cumberland Regional High School, she also studied Dental Hygiene at Harcum College. She was an adorable mother, a sister, a friend, and a colleague. She will be greatly missed by many that knew her.

According to a press release, Thomas Gilbert Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of Detectives announced that John was found dead inside his car after Franklin Township Police Department officers responded to reports of an automobile that was haphazardly parked in someone else’s backyard. According to the police John killed his wife Melissa before the crash in their nearby home. John shot himself to death after the accident. His wife’s death was ruled as a homicide, and her body was reported to have received multiple stabbed wounds says Gloucester County Medical Examiner & Coroner. John Kolonich’s death was ruled as a suicide by gunshot. Always bubbling with cheerful energy and never taking life too seriously. The adoring mother that lived and loved life to its fullest.. you were an amazing mom!! The caring hygienist.. your patients are heartbroken. In and out of work.. you were always so much fun to be around. We are thankful for the memories we will cherish forever! As life goes on, we are crippled with heartache for you and your family. How long and deep the tears will fall for you. May you rest in peace sweet Melissa  All of our love, Your dental family.
