Evan Astillero Death – Cause of Death : On Saturday night, one person has been reported dead following a fatal car accident that occurred on Highway 9 near Saratoga at approximately 10:40 p.m. Authorities identified the deceased of the accident as Evan Astillero, 21, a native of San Jose. He was a passenger in the vehicle that crashed.
According to initial investigation, a 2003 Lexus was moving at a high rate of speed on the highway south of Booker Creek Road when it veered off the road and crashed with a tree. The reason for the crash has not been stated by the officials. The crash inflicted major injuries on the San Jose man and he was pronounced dead by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
The officials did not release information regarding the driver of the vehicle. No arrest has been made at the moment.
The accident is still under investigation.
