Matthew George Cause of Death: EXETER, ONT. – Bluewater man has been identified as the chauffeur of a truck killed on Monday after a head-on accident north of Dashwood, Ontario.
Fr. Matthew George, 52, from Bluewater died in a horrific head-on collision north of Dashwood just before midday on Monday. George was driving a pickup truck that collided head-on with an SUV on Bronson Line between the Pepper and MacDonald roads.
George was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The 35-year-old chauffeur of the SUV was also taken to the hospital, where he’s being treated for undetermined injuries.

The investigation into the crash continues.
The family will release an obituary and funeral arrangements for Matthew George.
