Coach Duane Mock was from Atmore, Alabama but lives in Eufaula, Alabama, he always has a positive influence on his players, students, family, friends, and all who knew him, He was the kind of man one could count on, no matter what. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Jennifer, his Kids, and all who loved him.

To say that Duane Mock was a good man is an understatement. The love and respect I have for both him and his precious family, is indescribable. My heart hurts for his wife, his babies, and for the children who have loved him. And my heart hurts for those who will never experience that love because he was taken from this world too soon. I will never forget the pep talks he gave me as not only a coworker but also as a parent. I will miss the “good luck Coach, we believe in you” messages I got before EVERY competition. Everyone should strive to be like Duane Mock, his wife, and his children. They are the best people I know. If you know me, you know that Georgia Mock is my heart and soul. I pray she, Jada, and their wonderful mother will find peace in knowing that he loved them more than anything in this world.

We are beyond heartbroken to say that Coach Duane Mock passed away today. To say that he will be missed is a major understatement. The positive influence he had on his players, students, family, friends, and all who knew him is one that will last forever. He left only good wherever he went and that will linger with us always. Let’s try to honor him and do the same. His presence will most certainly be on those sidelines with us every game from here on out, and he will no doubt be looking over us all. Please keep his wife, daughters, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers now and in the coming days, as they are going to need all of the support possible. As we continue to go through life, let’s all strive to be #MockStrong. Thank you.

We’re all saddened by the news of Coach Duane Mock tonight. Rest assured he’s in a much better place with no more pain or sorrow. He was a great father, husband, mentor and respected by all that knew of him. He was the kind of man that you could count on, no matter what. He must be proud knowing that so many loved and cared for him and his family during this most difficult time. Let’s continue to pray for his family and show our love for these amazing neighbors that we have. I’m proud to have known Duane and will miss my friend forever.
