At the time of publication, the circumstances surrounding Ayden Harper’s death were unknown. Ayden Harper’s death has left a void in the hearts of many wrestlers and the FT community.
Wrestler Ayden Harper was announced dead on Wednesday morning, November 17, 2021, by the Franklin Central Wrestling Family. Ayden is a seasoned wrestler. Ayden had a funny and unique personality and was never afraid to show it and his friends loved that about him. He was described by his friends as someone who was always ready for a laugh. “It’s unfortunate that this has happened. Someone I use to be close to has passed on. Ayden Harper a fellow senior who I use to be good friends with in middle school to sophomore year has passed,” Jamie Lee Hammon-Fleming wrote.
This GoFundMe page was created to assist the family of a lifelong member Ayden Harper at this difficult time. As of this morning, the fundraiser page has raised $490 out of a $10,000 goal. Denise was the most generous donor, donating $50. In a statement published on the page, money generated from the donation will go to Ayden’s family. “We would like to honor his life and assist his family with any funeral needs, hospital expenses and any unknown cost that might arise,” statement on the page says.
Tributes are flooding in for the Franklin Central HS wrestler on social media, acknowledging his life’s work.
“Please support not only one of my wrestlers, but one of my own bonus kids. This family has supported my children and I through some of the toughest times over the past year and a half. I couldn’t be more thankful for them. Losing Ayden has been a struggle. When you spend time bleeding together you build a bond that’s one of a kind. Please support ij anyway possible.”

We weren’t close but you were loved by so many. You always kept to yourself but I remember the fun we had in gym class, history, and biology.
