1 dead, another still missing following boating accidnet in Cranberry Creek, Huron
A boating accident that happened around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, November, 16, 2021 off Cranberry Creek in Huron has left one person dead and another still missing. A witness who alerted the emergency crews said two boats collided with each other and the occupants were thrown into the water.
The witness recued three people from the water before the arrival of emergency crews. Two of the three people rescued were taken by paramedics to the hospital while the third victim was taken to shore through a Coast Guard vessel and was declared deceased.
The Coast Guard in Marblehead responded to the incident while search for the fourth person who is still missing continues.
