74-year-old man died in three-car accident in Kings County, California
A multi-car accident that happened at the intersection of Dairy Avenue and Salem Avenue in Kings County, California at about 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 has claimed the life of a 74-year-old man.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 74-year-old man was driving a Caterpillar backhoe tractor on Dairy Avenue, south of Corcoran, when he existed the roadway and was struck by a Freightliner semi-truck operated by a 35-year-old man. Shortly after, a sanitation truck ran into the two vehicles that had collided earlier. The impact caused the tractor to flip over and ejected the driver.
The 74-year-old driver of the tractor was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while the driver of the semi was suffered the accident with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the third vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
