Anthony Oliver Death : Officials are investigating an incident early Saturday morning after a gunman opened fire inside a Michigan metro bus, injuring three commuters.

According to Michigan State Police, the suspect identified as 54-year-old Anthony Oliver, allegedly boarded a bus at the Kalamazoo Transportation Center and walked on the bus, and began shooting at passengers.

“The shooter was standing five feet away from me with the gun and he looked at me and he waved the gun, My heart was pumping, I was scared for my life,” Mike Kirish who was on transit in another bus at the park said.

Oliver was shot by officials immediately after stepping out of the bus. He was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries moments after. The three injured victims were also transported to the hospital, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports.

“We’re just not safe, I don’t know what’s going on, I don’t know what’s happening to our wonderful little community, It’s just really sad, you’re going to be afraid to come out here and there’s fear. It’s like everywhere you do you have to watch yourself now,” a Kalamazoo resident and train passenger Linda Vanderberg said.
